I hold a PhD in Materials Science and currently I work as Business Development Manager of the CIDETEC institute for surface engineering since July 2016.
I worked 4 years in a R&D institution (CEIT) as junior researcher within Materials Department, fully focused in an industrial project funded by ARCELOR-MITTAL about "hot forming of free-cutting steels". Additionally I was 5 years working in a Chemical Plant (HCl regeneration plant) as Technical Assistant Manager and Quality & Environment Responsible and 2 years as Corporative Quality Manager in a Group of SMEs (DEINCO group). DEINCO group was a corporation of 8 SMEs, with 130-140 employees in 2010, working for Metallurgy Industry (machining workshop, boilermaking, surface coating), waste management and turnkey projects of water treatment facilities. I participated in the Steering Committees with the corporation President, General Manager, responsibles for human and financial resources and business lines managers.
From 2011 I  worked during 4 years as European Project Manager at LORTEK (technology centre specialised in joining and metal additive manufaturing technologies) and 5 years at CIDETEC (surface engineering institute). I have coordinated the next EU funded projects:

• WELDMINDT (Non-Destructive Techniques, FP7-CS, Engines ITD), TIFAN (Additive Manufacturing, FP7-CS, Eco-design ITD, collaboration with CTME) and LIGHTWELD (joining of light alloys –Mg, Al-, FP7-CS, Eco-design, ITD) in FP7
• COMBILASER (NDT and monitoring systems for quality assurance of laser based manufaturing processes, H2020-FoF, co-coordinated at the beginning of the project with Tanja Mohoric from HIDRIA) and 
• LUBGEAR (Tribological behaviour under loss of LUBrication of new optimized GEARs for friction reduction, H2020-CS2) in H2020

I have managed (as Project Manager representing LORTEK or CIDETEC) more than 10 additional EU funded projects (i.e. MERLIN, ECOLAND, LIGHTWELD, INNPAPER, U-CROSS, AMANECO, INN-PRESSME). I have also participated in high TRL projects (innovation projects) with Industrial Partners, when I was working at CEIT -i.e. big project with ARCELOR-MITTAL- see above in Experience in industrial sector-, LORTEK - i.e. private projects about joining and additive manufacturing of special alloys with two big aerospace Spanish companies (ITP, SENER), and at CIDETEC (participation in several EUROSTARS projects, such as ECO-PROTECT, TRUE-REPLACE, THERMALASER).
I have experience in projects and proposals of different programmes: HEU (including Clean Aviation, Clean Hydrogen, etc.), EDF, EDA cat B, EUROSTARS, EUREKA, M-ERA.net.
