BOTTL_08 - Limited engagement of research projects

The research projects often face challenges in contributing to standardisation, as they are hardly represented in the standardisation bodies unless mandated by the Commission. This can be attributed to: (1) insufficient awareness about the importance and process of standardisation; (2) a lack of incentives to engage in standardisation activities; (3) limited understanding of how to effectively use project results to contribute to standardisation efforts.
